Founded by Austin Ivey and Sophy Rindler in 2017, Tockr is a company that develops high-end watches. Esteemed manufacturers in Switzerland make Tockr timepieces from luxury mechanical components. Since its launch, the brand offers two timepiece series, the C-47 and the Air-Defender. 

The C-47 series draws on inspiration from the C-47 military aircraft. Mr. Ivey’s grandfather was a C-47 pilot in World War II, where he flew perilous routes over the Himalayan Mountains for the United States Army. Tockr’s C-47 series includes two watches, the C-47 Radial and the C-47 Radial Wing, inspired by their namesake’s radial engines with its pistons radiating outward. These watches also draw on inspiration from vintage timepieces with their cushion-shaped cases, a throwback to popular watches in the 1970s. 

Air-Defender timepieces, the other series of Tockr watches, are ergonomically designed for the wearer’s comfort. Like the C-47, the Air-Defender series has a vintage feel with its cushion-shaped cases. The Air-Defender series is designed to meet NATO’s rigid requirements for aviators’ timepieces and offers an inner reflector ring that allows for accurate calculations without needing to look at sub-dials.
